Some trees need to be brought down whole, this process is done from the ground with pin point precision. Felling aids can be used such as wedges, tag lines, and hydraulic tree jacks.
In many cases, trees are too big to be felled entirely. Specialty gear is used to gain access into the tree including synthetic 10mm climbing ropes, mechanical ascenders and arborist specific harnesses.
